Regarding the newly announced Limited Power of Attorney (POA) option, I have some concerns with one line in particular in the POA. I would like to hear other's thoughts on this.
(vi) creating and closing accounts with companies and organizations
That line is granting a lot of power to Optery and I'm not sure that privacy minded individuals are necessarily the people that will sign that right over. That is essentially giving Optery the power to close any online account you have ever created which I'm not sure why Optery even needs that power. In its current form I would suggest that you do not sign the POA that they just released, while I think it is a great idea, it is currently worded too broadly.
