Hello World! I am a daily lurker... I’ve posted and replied a whooping 1-2 times! But it’s time I admit, forgive, and tell a brief part of each moment of my daily thoughts that are ALWAYS there! I’m 36 and spent the better part of 7 years lying to myself first, and then... well everyone else too. I mean c’mon, I wasn’t “sick”... I was in pain, I NEEDED it! Didn’t I?!?! NOPE! 6 mos 7...8...9... days sober! I have a life again! I’m not where I want to be yet! But I have a fucking chance still! And I won’t give it up, I can’t give it up! I have a wife (who miraculously stayed beside me), 4 kiddos, and a family and friends that love me! And I and YOU ALL to... Deserve and can have the same! I forgive me, I will succeed, I will make ME proud! And I will live for me, so I can live and love for you all too! Beat the beast, and break the cycle! Because LIFE is just around the corner!
