M4 that matched this cycle. I’ve been in this area my whole life and would love to get feel of living in another city.

thinking of Kaiser because of the higher starting salaries. thinking of plastics, glaucoma, or comprehensive depending on dating/wanting kids with my partner. I’ve been having this feeling of taking a 2 yr contract at Kaiser LA/ SanDiego then coming back to DC for capitol hill. Also open to Kaiser atlanta ( probably pays more than CA??) I’d like to eventually leave Kaiser and join private practice after 3-5 with them.

I know salary discussions can be taboo but i’ve also been thinking about the loan forgiveness program and taking a job in academics (graduating with 260K) but i need to do an excel sheet comparison of potential earnings before i commit to academics vs. kaiser/PP
