So last weekend we arranged for to meet a single M to have an MMF. We always meet in public (a coffee shop) first just to make sure we click with the guy. Now this particular guy, while messaging him during the week, came out and said "I'm married, hope that's not a problem?". Now we always turn down married guys because it's just too much hassle to have them hiding something from their wives. We don't like that hide-and-play game. So I replied "Does she know?". He replied "Yes, she is going to be going to see her boyfriend tonight, and is aware I am going to play too".

OK, so we assume that we are dealing with an open relationship couple. That's cool, we can work with that. So we arrange to meet him at a coffee shop at 1pm. At 12:30 he messages me saying that his wife is feeling ill, so she's not going to see her boyfriend that night, so he was going to need to stay in with her and wouldn't be able to play that evening. BUT, still wanted to meet us for coffee so we can maybe get together another time. Well, of course we were bummed that he wouldn't be able to play, but yeah let's meet and get that out of the way.

So 1pm we are sitting down with our iced coffee. 1:10, 1:15, 1:20... He never shows, and never texts. Grrrrrrr... Stood up and ghosted AGAIN!!!

We've been doing this for 1.5 years now. And right now we have about an 80% rate of guys pulling a no show! It is just so common for the guys to not show up, and never reach out to let us know they aren't coming!

WTH is up with these guys??? Don't tell us you're going to meet, and then not show. At least have the decency to message us and let us know! But noooooo, they all pull a no show and ghost us.

The worst part is that we have busy lives, and it's hard to find a weekend that we can actually have an MMF. So when we do, and we get stood up, we have lost our window of opportunity. In this case, we won't have another weekend until August :-(

And oh yeah, this was the 2nd time in a 3 week period that this has happened. So we had 2 weekends available (rare), and lost our chance both times because some jerk got cold feet.
