Maintenance loan - Scotland
Post Body

Looking for some advice, I have already contacted the uni but there automated email said it could take 2 weeks for a reply.

I’m changing from a brick Uni to the OU, and currently receive student loan and bursary from SAAS/SLC. Obviously my tuition is paid. I work bank (0 hour contract) job so for the OU id get a part time fee grant.

However does anyone know entitlement, if I would get anything to help with living costs etc while studying? I would need to redo my DSA with OU (new institution, redo disability assessment for exams), so that will also come into play but I’m unsure what I’d be entitled to.

Their website gave a predictive calculator, but obviously that’s not definitive, and was largely based on tuition fees not anything else hence me emailing them.

Any and all advice would be great.
