Problem with my RAID5

Hello guys. Sorry but I am not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I am running a OMV on my raspberry pi 5. Got 4 x 4 (4tb) HDDS running on RAID 5, used it as a network attached storage. Initially it was great, I had stored plenty of data there, but now for some reason all my folders and files are gone. Yet, all that space is being occupied and when I scan that drive with DiskDrill it suddenly picks up all those lost files? Is there a way to restore them? What do I do? WHAT HAVE I DONE ? :(
