Hi,
Like most people in non-monogamous marriages, we are in the minority when we are out in public, at a bar, restaurant, hotel lounge, etc.
As a man, I have seen that women are much more closed off to talking to me when they look at my wedding ring vs. what my wife says about men approaching her when she’s out. I tie this to men in general valuing the sanctity of marriage less than women do, but that’s a different discussion for another day.
For the husbands, do y’all find better success wearing your wedding ring or not wearing it while out?
For the ladies (married or not), would you prefer a married man who approaches you to wear his wedding ring so you know off the rip or not & him tell you he’s married?
Thanks, J
EDIT: My wife thinks not wearing my ring will give me more chances for women to be open to my flirting or approaching them initially, but for me if my wedding ring is a hard no for them then I’d rather already know that going into the conversation.
