Thinking about joining a local united methodist church:
Post Body

I am a 26 m. Who is a current community college student. I would say that I am more progressive and left leaning. I was actually a member of a conservative religious cult for about a year and a half. I have been out for a few months now. I am currently agnostic. However, I still have a belief in God. My views did necessarily line up with the former church that I was apart of. I am not homophobic and I am not against sex before marriage or cohabitation. Of course since I left the cult. I am no longer saved and can have a relationship with God according to them. Should I join a local united methodist church in my area?
