I purchased this pendant online about 15 years ago, $100. I realize the setting is only gold-filled, but the Opal is incredible. Multiple colors seem liquefied like small pools. The spot in the back is part of the overall colors on top, only flaky. I always just thought it was a matrix opal, but I see there alot of other factors. Any ideas about the actual type, origin, approximate value...? Thanks
