Onyx Boox Note Air won't allow me to choose a dictionary?

I followed the instructions in this guide but when I go to dictionary settings I can't select the ones I put in the folder.
E.g. I have a "Preferred Dictionary Setting" option that says "Please select up to 10 Dictionaries", and when I click it, no options come up.
I've double-checked that the correct files (.dz, .idx, .ido) are in the right "dict" folder.
