My G2 Expired 3 years and 3 months ago but...

Hello there!

So My g2 expired August 2019 and after covid and a bunch of other circumstances, I only decided to get my G1 again today. To my surprise, I've been told that I have to wait a year to get my G2. The plan was to get my G1 and G2 done last year, however, I had a severe mental health crisis and was hospitalized for over 2 weeks in the psychiatric intensive care unit.

Who can I talk to/what should I do/do you think it would even be possible to get an except since it's so close to the 3 year deadline?
