Hey !
So I got accepted in LL.L and International development (Droit civil et développement international in french). ( essentially it's a Civil law degree a minor ).
I asked if they could just like... take out the minor. They decided to re-activate my second choice, which was only civil law. The answer is just nope because they reached their quota of admission in the civil law degree but like...
The first year of the LL.L and International development is just law courses
I am doing both a civil law degree and international development stuff in that program.
So I wanted to know if there is any other way for me to ask for a program change, maybe during my first year, other than what I just did, that is to say re-activate my second choice. Since they already sent all their admission offer, obviously they filled their quota in law. But I am already in the civil law faculty, doing a civil law degree, I just want to be able to do only civil law.
Do you have any insights on how I could proceed, right now or when i'm in my first year (in fall 2022)?
Small rant : What ? Why can't I change this ? I'm already accepted in the faculty, it's essentially the same program lmao.
