An employee of mine has been renting a basement apartment from a lady for the past 2 years.

When he first started renting Laundry, Internet, and use of backyard were all included.

She has since blocked out use of the laundry facilities to him and put a lock on the gate so he cannot use the back yard.

She is demanding more money from him because his girlfriend has been staying with him.

She has not provided a proper fridge and only a hot plate he has to cook using a toaster oven. As well he was able to use the freezer in the laundry room but now she has locked him out of that area he has no where to store frozen food.

He has complained and she has now been texting him that he has to vacate the property effectively January 15th. He pays his rent on time, owes no back money or anything.

Is there any coarse of action that I can help this kid out with as he is being bullied by this land lord and not being provided in what is my opinion facilities promised.

Please advise.
