Post Body

Unit flooded. Landlord wants me to move all my things out of the unit immediately. He also sent a message today telling me to cut my hydro and put the bill in his name as the restoration company is using the hydro in the unit for power…

What do I do here? At this point I feel he is not acting in good faith. He has been ignoring my phone calls and only responding via text hours and hours after I initiate…

It was my understanding that in order to fix the unit I would need 120 days notice? Maybe I am wrong.

What I am fearful of is moving all of my things out of the unit and switching the hydro into his name and him ghosting me and changing the locks…

This seems like an eviction with no notice…

I pay rock bottom prices because of rental control and units around me are going for at least $1000 extra a month…
