How can I be proactive in getting $14k in rent back? L10 Application

Post Body

Hi all! I had really bad tenants that weren't paying rent and were finally kicked out on the first. They had 72 hours to get their belongings but said they weren't going to. Now that the 72 hours are over, I can do whatever I want with their belongings.

They currently owe me about $14k in rent damages and I'm going to be filing an L10 application to hopefully get at least some of it back. I know that I have to find a way to get them the application and I have a feeling they're going to avoid me at all costs.

HOWEVER, they are coming today to grab some of their important things... I've heard of some consent form that they can sign so that they can receive the letters through their email..

  1. Does anyone know of that specific form?
  2. Can I get them to sign it before the Application is filed for the L10?

Thank you all! If you have any other recommendations, that would be perfect.
