So noticed that Moonraker was mentioned twice, in the previous episode where Oliver mentioned it and this episode where Loretta said that she had done the stage play (?) with Eugene. I don't know much about Moonraker except that it's James Bond, and so read it Wikipedia page. But does anyone else think there may be a link to what's going on??

Comments

Moonraker has a very generic James Bond plot with a weapon being stolen from superpowers by a maniac who plans to end humanity.

It had Bond start the investigation with the support of someone who looked like a victim, but turned out to be the main villain. So maybe Sazz had a helper in something she was investigating who double-crossed her. OR, the trio is being helped by the perpetrator from the start.

Loretta's character was Bondgirl Ms.Goodhead (typical James Bond female character name, like Pussy Galore). Goodhead was an employee/colleague of the villain, which might make Jonk the arch-nemesis.

She told Eugene Levy a bit later that she wasn't called Goodhead because of the character. Isn't showbiz wonderful?

I should've said that he was tangentially a victim. Specifically, it was the billionaire whose company made the weapon that was stolen. Said billionaire was eagerly helping with the investigation until it turned out he had stolen it from the Government(s) he made it for.
