I have tried over a dozen apps. Even tried a couple of subscription based ones or paid upgrades. I've gotten only a handful of matches from real women. They either don't respond, respond once and leave, or unmatch me immediately. Really frustrating. I'm not expecting to find the right person right away. But it'd be nice to at least find someone I could chat with or go on a couple dates with. Looking for long term. But open to short just to get things going. Kinda introverted and looking for someone who is kinda similar. Partly difficult simply because I don't smoke, don't do drugs (including weed), don't want to be a step-dad (a lot of single moms out there), don't drink (but don't mind if she does), and (this may be a bit shallow but it's true) don't want to date a woman that is severely obese (curvy is fine, but there is a limit).

Even tried some "adult dating" sites and finally got SOME attention. But the only actual engagement chatting I've gotten is from scammers who want my money in cashapp or gift cards or some BS.
