Is this a thing??

I (36f) just matched on bumble with someone a few years younger than me who almost immediately said basically “oops, I didn’t realize you were 36 I’m not really into older women, but my roommate would be into you”. So he gives me the “roommate’s” number and a picture of him- he’s cute!- but the first guy keeps messaging as well, acting all torn like he shouldn’t date me but wants to. I’m more attracted to the first guy so I’m texting both of them simultaneously. (Don’t count your chickens before they hatch, amiright?)

So after a bit I notice the first guy’s profile pictures have changed to the roommates pictures. Wtf, right? Very suspicious. Then after a couple minutes he unmatches with me and the photos are gone. I text the “roommate” asking if he knows about it and of course he acts all innocent at first but asked him outright if they were the same person, and he admitted he was.

It’s sad, I would’ve swiped right on him and been up for meeting if he’d just been himself. He’s a good looking guy! But this is just bonkers, obviously that’s the end of that. 🚩🚩🚩
