Met an attractive, intelligent woman through OLD with which we have good amounts of things in common. We had a great first date and the attraction seems pretty mutual. We’ve both been in deep anticipation for our second meet - texting everyday and calling every couple days. Both of us being away for Thanksgiving slowed plans.
Came down with the flu right before our second date and had to reschedule. Now I’m seeing the slow fade from her. Less texts. More of a brush off.
Just wondering if an unfortunate gap in dates makes women lose interest, or if there is a specific amount of time where you just kind of give up and look for someone else.
This is the second time it’s happened to me within the past month so just want to get advice. I’m pretty fun in conversation and texting and definitely try not to bore them or be overbearing.
