Which app should I try? New to OLD.
Post Body

I’ve never done OLD and am a bit unsure how to start or which app to use to try to find what I’m looking for.

I (33F) was in a committed, long term relationship for over 6 years. He broke up with me nearly two months ago. I was heartbroken, of course, and am still going through some complicated emotions at times. I’m not ready for a new relationship, but I do want some companionship. Something casual/FWB with heavy emphasis on the F part. I know the risk of being ghosted after sex is there, but I’m hoping to find someone who understands the importance of a good connection and friendship.

On Saturday, I made a Hinge account. I got a handful of likes and one message pretty quickly (which was a bit of a confidence boost tbh, I don’t consider myself all that attractive) but I got really nervous and paused the account before actually matching with anyone. Every like was from a guy who had “looking for long-term” or something similar in his profile, which made me wonder if I chose the wrong app for what I’m looking for. I know basically nothing about OLD, let alone the difference between each app.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated!
