Hey, I'm brand spankin new to online dating and just started to dip my toes last weekend. I don't particularly mind spending money, but I likewise don't want to waste it... with that in mind: What app gives you the best bang for your buck?
Paying is a multiplier. But for guys who get zero matches, anything times anything is still zero. Hence all the people saying "don't bother".
If you're getting some matches and have money to spare, it can be worth it. That was the case for me. Currently I have a lifetime bumble subscription that I love, but I bought it when it was cheaper. It's especially good while traveling.
Also a lot of the apps have multiple tiers. My only experience there is I went from tinder gold to platinum and definitely noticed an uptick.
I would also factor in which apps suit what you're looking for. Tinder is pretty trashy where I'm at, and I only ever met people for casual encounters. Hinge is more promising for serious relationships. Bumble has some of both IME.
