Because I just signed in to Feeld and of the three accounts in my feed today. Two of them are definitely fake and the other one is questionable.
Yes, I understand people think that dating apps don't have much motivation to filter out fake accounts. However, dating apps do have motivation to keep people on the platform (because some percentage of engaged users translates to a dollar in the company account) and fake accounts do not help keep people on the platform.
Between Hinge, Bumble, OkCupid and Tinder: who is the best at filtering out fake accounts? I'm not including Firefly in there because the user base is so damn small that I don't think scammers even pay attention to it.
