I've been on various online dating apps (Bumble, OKCupid, Tinder and Hinge) for about a year and it seems that I've gone through just about the entire stack in my area. It's to the point where I only see a few new profiles a day, if that, and those that I do see are usually at the outer edge of my distance radius modifier. Over that year some of my preferences have changed and I realize that I've swiped left on a fair few number of people that now I would swipe right on.
Is there a way to be able to reset the stack and start anew? I've read how some people delete their accounts, wait a few months and then re-register. I've also heard that shadow banning can occur from this as well. It all seems rather nebulous. Surely there have been people out there in a situation similar to my own?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
