Safety Etiquette for Dating
Post Body

As a man, I want to reduce the risks or anxieties a woman MIGHT have to think about since I am a complete stranger, and she knows nothing about me:

Some things I consider:

  1. Driving separate cars, don't offer to pick her up

  2. Give her my number, don't ask for hers

  3. Offer to buy her a drink, but never leave the drink alone with me

  4. Meet in a public place, not invite her to my house, esp on the first date

The purpose is to shift the power/control in favor of a woman so she feels safe, secure on the date.

I'm curious to know if there are other tips/advice that anyone thinks about that could be helpful for first-time daters or even experienced daters.
