I feel like online dating apps have been against me from day 1 of use. I try to put the best effort in showing off my personality in the profiles I create and the images I submit however I’m always left with like half a dozen or less matches for each site from what feels like thousands of swipes! It’s a bit aggravating to think that no one “from my area” really wants to connect. I’m social but I don’t like the dancing/bar atmospheres of the real world as it’s not really my thing and I feel like that’s where a lot of people end up meeting IRL and where relationships tend to form so I don’t rely on that “find them in the real world” type of thing. Anyone have any advice on what they think I could do to improve my chances through dating apps?
