Red flag or I’m just being harsh ?
Post Body

So me and my match just exchanged numbers, we’ve been talking on the app since yesterday. We’re texting, and he asks if he can call, I say sure. He calls me but he sounded really muffled so he ask if he can call me back since he was driving. I’m waiting for him to call me back, some time goes by so I decide in the meantime to go do something (the something was taking out my trash). I missed his phone call and I get a text saying “do better. I was confused so I called him back which I planned on doing anyway. I asked him what does that mean and he says it wasn’t meant for me. I say OK good night ( I had no negative feelings, I’m completely calm)he asks me you called me back just to say good night I say no because your text came off a little aggressive. That’s why I called you explained and that’s it so good night so he says good night. Less then three minutes later he called me back asking me am I upset? He wants things to be clear because he’s big on communication and I’m like no I’m not upset I have no negative feelings, we’re going back-and-forth and I ask “are you sober ?” he says no I was drinking a little bit and I’m like yeah that’s probably why you’re feeling like this maybe talk to me when you’re not intoxicated. He feels a little offended, and I said the truth, he says he doesn’t want us to stop talking and he feels really bad but I just feel like he was trying to find an issue and I told him to call me when he’s sober he said OK no problem. The whole interaction felt weird, I didn’t like his tone. I’m use to men talking to me a certain way
