So all of us here have boundaries whether we admit it or not. To me, working up to those boundaries and then not crossing them until your partner is ready is crucial in any relationship including OA.
For example, women newer to Reddit may not feel comfortable showing certain pics. Or maybe you exchange phone numbers but agree not to call each other until agreed upon times. If those are your limits, they should be respected. But how do you feel if your partner keeps pressing you to go past your limits? Personally, I dig in and am less likely to expand that particular boundary. I respect your limit(s). Please respect mine. If it doesn’t work out for me or you, it doesn’t work out. It’s simple.
