Have we met, in another time, place, dimension ??
Have we passed in the street and smiled at each other ??
Have I crept into your dreams, you into mine, wondering ??
Did we connect on a different level, plane, universe ??
Do we reconnect, share, engage ??
I sometimes feel there is someone out there that was a friend, confidant, soulmate who slipped away for some reason. Who knew who I was/am, can/will be there. I long for those feelings again, you know the ones, the tingle in your stomach when I pop up, the anticipation of the next one and it's content, the thought of what I am doing and if I'm thinking the same thoughts. The wanting, craving, yearning, the smile crossing your face as you sneak away to see if I've replied. The butterflies, the chicken skin, the goose bumps, the moisture.
I do. Will you reach out ... hopefully. Can I make you smile ... hopefully. Want to try. I'm waiting.
I'm on the east coast, older (55) but it's only a number, still alive, more so now that I'm a survivor
