I usually consider myself pretty clever and witty but this week has been a grind, so the title just wasn’t coming to me. I promise to do better! Alright, on with the show.

Obligatory about me section: I’m 39, married, no kids (don’t let this deter you though, I’m an amazing Funcle), a Midwest transplant living on the East Coast, kink friendly (yep, I said it). I like staying active, running, biking, going to the gym, playing volleyball, being on the water. I also love to travel, try new restaurants, fast cars, hang by the pool, binge the latest ‘it’ show, and love using parentheses (see above and below). I’m 6’1” and I like to say I have an athletic build, although I’m not sure that’s a good thing now, it seems dad bods are all the rage these days. I’m also bearded but it’s pretty short.

What he seeks in a partner: this one is pretty open. I’ve done this before and I know the replies are limited when you’re a M4F. I still try to be picky because we’re risking something here, so there’s no reason not to be. I want a woman who is attached, within a reasonable time zone, has some brains, would maybe be described as the type you wouldn’t expect to find on here, and is conventionally attractive. I don’t think it’s too much to ask.

What we get out of this: prepare for some cliches! Butterflies, passion, excitement. Getting to go to bed thinking about someone and waking up thinking about that same person, quickly checking your phone for a ‘good morning’ text. The disappointment when said text isn’t there, and then realizing we’ve been ghosted…shit, that last part is more my experience but I’d like to change that.

Sorry to get a little Eeyore there, I guess my expectations are low, please change them! I’m pretty hopeful and optimistic. Send a chat, a message, (maybe a pic), a carrier pigeon, Morse code, and let’s do the damn thing!
