I'm married and staying that way. I'm relatively happy, but not quite the "cake eater" archetype some of you all seem to despise. Personally, I would prefer to meet someone closer to that blasphemous existence since I imagine they're more able to live in the moment and have fun with this. And this is supposed to be fun. That's the crazy thing I believe, anyway.

Let's see... I don't have kids. I nerd out with my crosswords every morning. You can put your pineapple on my pizza, but leave your fucking ketchup off my hot dog. I'm a compassionate and sensitive stranger by day, and a ruthless misanthrope by night. I stan for the working class and give no quarter for capitalist vampires or their peasant enablers. I think deeply about the world around me, and I take seriously the intersections and impacts of social and historical forces like patriarchy, misogyny, racism, homophobia, class conflict, and chauvinism. But also I'm always good to make your eyes roll to the back of your head with a far-reaching, over-worded dad pun. If coping with the visceral collapse of our society with shameless humor is wrong, I don't want to be right.

I don't have any particular expectations by posting here. Obviously I'm interested in something that resembles a romantic entanglement, but what that looks like depends on chemistry, geography, and availability. Maybe circumstances keep us strictly online as something more of a flirtatious and supportive companionship, or maybe reasonable distance allows us to progress things into the real world. Right now, I just hope to connect with someone in PST/Southern California who is excited by the possibility of a secret romance. This won't go anywhere if we don't vibe intellectually, but physical attraction is also essential. Let's confirm we pass each other's eye test before too long so we don't waste anybody's time.
