Vanilla is the second-most expensive spice in the world. The orchid plants that produce vanilla beans flower for a single day each year, and must be hand-pollinated on that occasion. So why did “vanilla” become a synonym for ordinary, even boring? Beats me. I don’t make the rules.*
I’m looking for something not vanilla in that figurative sense. Precious and requiring attention? Sure. But not ordinary. We have ordinary. This should be something extraordinary, right?
I’m looking for someone who won’t settle for the ordinary. Conversations with depth, real feelings, and toe-curling sex that leave us gasping for breath even without touching. Extraordinary intimacy. Seeing the whole you.
I’m a professional with advanced degrees. Married without children. 5’8”, average body, full head of hair. Life can be busy, but I know how to make this work and the right girl will absolutely be a priority. You won’t want for attention. I like full sentences and I’m strongly pro-Oxford comma. Staying active is important to me, and yes, I like hiking. If that’s a crime, I’m guilty. But I’ve never commented, “Sent you a message,” on a post, so I have that going for me.
Deft use of language, a curious mind, and a desire to go beyond the ordinary get my attention. Interest in or experience with submission is an important ingredient as well.
