Okay, don't hold my love for Steve Miller Band's The Joker against me.

Oh, boy, where to start? Well, you know how they say long time listener, first time caller? Not so much here. I've been around these parts before, found some people I really enjoyed talking to, and those connections fizzled off for one reason or another. Nobody to blame; as Tupac once said, that's just the way it is.

But hey, new year, new goals, all that fun stuff. So let's start it off the right way and make a connection. As for me, I've been told I exude golden retriever energy. I love books, movies, music, and long walks on the beach. I also love to travel (went to Iceland a few years back for the first time and loved it, then went to Aruba a year later because, as much as I loved Iceland, it was just too cold). I work from home, so I'm usually around, except for the occasional Zoom meeting, and I'm definitely looking for someone who is interested in and capable of messaging more than a few hours late at night on a Saturday.

I stay active. I try to do cardio 5 days a week, but I wouldn't consider myself super gym focused. I also like to cook, so let's swap recipes.

As for you, I would like someone who's also active since I do focus on getting my cardio done and staying somewhat in shape. But I don't expect you to be a fitness influencer or anything. Big plus if you're a reader, a movie lover, and if you listen to the Pixies.

I'll also admit a partiality toward Latina women (you scare me, but, like, in a way that I like), goth/alt women (still haven't gotten over my Raven/Shego crushes from childhood), and horror book/movie enthusiasts. Also, a sharp sense of humor goes a long way with me.
