I’m taking a stand, and refusing to let one day aimlessly slip into the next. We all know the feeling when your heart is pounding, your spirit is lively, and your entire body is alive. It’s worth working towards.
I’m 6’3”, hwp (I take an xl tall, if that helps), short beard, full head of hair, 10 fingers and toes, and my Apple watch says all those hikes and core workouts have kept me in pretty good shape. Married with a job and hobbies keep me engaged, but I’ve got loads more affection and attention to give, so here’s another attempt at finding the right person.
I work in the IT industry, and I love my challenging and ever-changing job. Those who work with their minds must rest with their hands, and in my spare time, I do studio photography and play in a couple of bands. Intellectual and creative conversation is far more important to me than looks, but I’ll admit right here my weakness for shorter red-headed girls. Throw in a mischievous smile and a sweet voice and I’m melting like a snowman in Spring.
You’re curious, energetic, and always thinking, with more to say than you get to vent during your typical day. You want to share your observations, memories, fantasies, and rants with someone who will listen and build that conversational pyramid. You can go on for hours about how bad your officemate’s new haircut looks from the side. I’m all for that, yes, give it to me. Of course I’d love to get down further if there’s a connection, but I simply can’t unless there’s a personal context to it all. Please be 35-50, able to switch off this terrible messaging platform at some point, and be respectful and discreet. I’m very open to in-person if we can make that work, but first things first.
We’ve all got our priorities, and I never want to feel an obligation or unwelcomed distraction, but shelves are for books and plants, not people. I don’t think it’s high maintenance to expect pretty regular communication during the waking hours. We’re on phones connected to the internet, not sending civil war letters through pony express.
You’ve gotten a taste for what I’m all about, and I know it will resonate with the right person. If nothing else, just drop a line and let me know the last song you danced to.
