A bit of a preface- I am one of the weirdos who has found legit success here in the past. I met someone who absolutely turned my perspective upside down and it was probably one of the most fulfilling experiences I have ever had. But, as we have heard multiple times...... all good things must come to an end. So, as you read this post please keep that in mind because I'm going to be very intentional about what my preferences and non-negotiables are.

I'm not the optimized LinkedIn profile type, nor am I the prototypical blue collar type. I am very much a product of the 90's but in a non nostalgic way. I would describe myself as analog in a digital world but not in a contradictory way, just in a way that is low maintenance and non-flashy. There are minor caveats to that description but overall it is as accurate as I can get.

As the title of the post stated, I am hoping for some better luck this year in regard to finding someone to vibe with. Like I mentioned, I have had the kind of success people hope to find here and it has changed my perspective on what I look for as I move forward. Here is a quick list of things that are non-negotiables:

• My schedule works best with women from the PST and MST timezones.
• I do not need constant communication, but I do need consistent communication.
• I do not mix well with women who are prone to pity parties or always have something coming up.
• I mix much better with women who are more alternative than women who are climbing the corporate ladder.
• I don't have the time or patience for women who can't give a simple heads up if they need to go dark for a while.
• If you are on the fence about any of those non-negotiables I can say with 100% certainty that we won't mix and I thank you for taking the time to stop by and give this a read.
• I am not attracted to plus sized women.

I'm an average guy in a marriage that has become predictable (not that that is a bad thing, stability is always preferable to chaos, but routine can be a bit "blah") and I would like to meet someone who is in a similar boat. I'm not looking for spouse bashing or daily airings of grievances, just a baseline for our mutual disenchantment. I'm not ugly, I'm tall, I have a pretty wicked sense of humor and can pepper banter with quick wit and sarcastic social commentary, I have a bunch of hobbies that I am too tired for, I have a job that I legit enjoy (with a few shitty days here and there) but it isn't my identity, I am not part of the 9-5 Mon-Fri crowd- I work later in the day and that includes weekends, I'm a night owl (by nature and also because of my schedule) and having someone to share some late night chats with would be awesome. I'm flirty and not averse to getting spicy. I use Telegram and would prefer jumping over there sooner than later.
