I'm going to try to be as specific as possible. So hold on for the long read and my apologies ahead of time lol.

I have had a 3 yr long AP in the past, so this isn't new to me (However it wasn't from reddit). And yes it was wonderful while it lasted, but sadly it ended a couple of years ago. And I would love to find that again with someone.

I'm not a regular or daily poster here on reddit, but I have posted a few times over the last few months without much success. Always seems that things start out great! But then after a few days or a week they stop talking and then mysteriously disappear without a word. Even from ones who say they would never ghost someone! oddly enough lol. So if I'm being honest I don't really have much faith in reddit dating.

But here we are! It's 2025!! And maybe just maybe someone will surprise me and finally bring me some success in this new year. Please!!! Someone prove to me Reddit isn't just all ghost's lol!!

I am really looking for someone to fill the voids in my life. Someone to bring that spark back to my life and make me feel all giddy and smile at my phone stupidly when she messages. Someone who is deep and isn't afraid to catch all the feels or even fall in love. Someone who likes to exchange little love letters, meme's, poems or little voice messages to let each other know we are thinking of each other. Someone who is into the sending of songs to let each other know we are thinking of them or how we feel about each other. Music speaks volumes to me! And even though I am a country boy and I do love my Country music. I love all type of music really except rap, opera or instrumental lol.

Me: - Married for many, many years and not looking to leave. It's not bad! Just lost a lot of the spark, emotional connection and intimacy. And it's essentially turned into more of a roommate situation. But I am not one who is going to sit and complain about my marriage or bash my SO all the time.

- I have one adult child and two amazing grand goblins. Yes I am a young grandpa, but it is what it is lol.

- I am a farmer, so I essentially work from home (hence the country boy lol). I Used to also drive truck locally but now I just strictly farm.

- I am 51 yrs old (Obviously) soon to be 52 in just a few months

- Bald (mostly by choice because I hate the receding hair line, it's cooler in the summer and I just plain like it shaved) But I wear a ball cap most of the time.

- I have a Blondish silvering goatee and mustache that I am told reflects well off my blue eyes

- I'm 6' 1" tall, 185 pounds, HWP, Not a gym guy but I get plenty of a work out and I think I look pretty good for my age. Maybe a little dad belly but not much (I do love my baked goods lol)

- I'm More of an early morning person than a night owl.

- My Availability is more in the early morning to late afternoon hours during the week for alone time, meaning I can communicate better through text, voice or video during that time. However I can still communicate through text outside those hours. Just not as frequently, mainly because we watch our grandkids in the evenings and on weekends most of the time.

You: - Married or attached as well and not looking to change either of our situation's. Someone not necessarily unhappy in their marriage but missing pieces like myself.

- I don't mind if you have children, grandchildren or neither. Just as long as you are understanding and patient with the fact of life is busier with small children around.

- I probably would connect with someone better who is a SAHM or works from home.

- Age isn't an huge issue for me as long as you are mature. However I would prefer someone over 35 who isn't going to think my graying makes me old. They say gray and bald is sexy ya know! LOL! And I am definitely not old!

- Preferably you have hair (doesn't matter what color) and no mustache or goatee haha. But I am a sucker for the country girl look with braids or a pony tail through the back of her ball cap.

- I am not super picky on height or weight as I am more into someone's maturity, personality and intelligence. But If I had to make a choice!? I would say I am honestly more attracted to thicker women or a woman with curves. Never really been huge into the super skinny or muscular type gym girls. I like some meat and potatoes on a woman lol. Just my preference!

- Preferably you are more of a morning person than a night owl

- And lastly you are someone who has more alone time availability during the daytime hours throughout the week (early morning to late afternoon) to be able to voice and cam from time to time. But who also can communicate sporadically throughout the evenings and weekends through text. I don't want someone who only communicates strictly 9 to 5 Mon-Fri and doesn't respond for days on end through the weekend or at all during the evening's. My time is more limited in the evening's and weekends too. But I always make time to respond here and there when I am able to. A few hours is a lot different than a few days lol.
