Hello.

I've recently discovered Reddit and let's just say it has opened my eyes to the huge number of people in similar situations to myself. I'm a 46 year old man who lives just outside of Warrington, in the North West of the UK.

I've find myself several years into a situation where my wife is not interested in sex. She primarily says it's due to life stage, as she's a bit older than me but she has no desire to do anything to change this. She's comfortable with life and where she's at and I think she's quite content with her day to day life. I just don't think sex comes into her thinking much. She never makes comments or shows an interest in embracing that part of life at all anymore so I've come to accept it.

That said, I can't accept this as my life. I have the libido of a much younger man. I'm too full of energy and hope to just sit back and let some of the best experiences of life run away from me.

I'm 5'9 with hazel eyes and a strong build. I was a doorman in my younger days and I've always kept the look - albeit with a kind face and a lack of scars. I was one of the good ones :-) I work in a stressful and demanding job and look the part. Professional and cheeky, at the same time.

When I'm not clearing up after the kids or working, (which takes up most of my time) I like to read, and I've recently started writing again - happy to share this, as it may give you more of an insight into me than a simple Reddit post ever could. I spend a lot of time on my own, working during the day and when my wife goes to her room to sleep so have plenty of time to devote.

I'm hoping I can find someone who is easy going, doesn't take life too seriously, and is possibly in a similar situation so we can relate.
