Hello Reddit! Well my first try at this was a swing and a miss for sure. But I'm a resilient guy so I am going to try this again.

I am 38 year old guy who is looking for a special online friend. I'd like to have someone to talk to throughout the day to help survive the repetitive day to day that has become my life. I am married, have been for about 12 years now. I have a good marriage but I've realize how life is both long and short at the same time and well I miss getting to know new people. I have 2 kids and enjoy being a father but also have feelings of completely losing my old self. So you know hey I'm a complicated emotional dude!

So 2024 was kind of a fucking rough year for me. I don't have some sob story to tell or anything just work life stresses, family issues from the past, and just the day to day grind of parenthood got me down a bit. I hope to find someone who can relate a bit with this and we can be there for each other to vent and also encourage each other to make the most of this year.

A bit about me. I am tall, lean body type. I've stayed in good shape over the years from running, swimming, lifting weights etc. I generally eat pretty healthy I'd say my one vice is beer...well I'm sure I have more. I have dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, I think my shoulders and abs are nice. I'm really into listening to music, going to shows, eating good food, traveling, reading, lazy days on the couch (I don't get those anymore). I love camping, backpacking, hiking, anything outdoors.

What I'm looking for? An attractive woman, is married, maybe has kids too, is smart and funny and active. Someone I can be honest with and can handle a bit of my weirdness.
