Like a lot of people on here, I am married but not looking to change my situation at home. I am primarily interested in a long-term, intimate friendship but I am okay if it's sexual too (or sexual at times). I am not opposed to meeting IRL but that's not likely to happen unless we coincidentally live near each other. I am definitely looking for something long-term, not something that flames out after a day or two.

I want to talk about the stuff that you normally share with your best friend or your spouse, including (especially?) the stuff that you *can't* share with your best friend or spouse. In my head, I am thinking of a friendship with a woman who occasionally cheats on her husband and wants to talk about that. I have cheated in the past and I might cheat in the future, so I have my skeletons to share too. Anyway, I know that infidelity can be a lonely experience and I'd like to have a partner in crime, so to speak.

So, if you are interested in a long-term friendship where we both share intimate details about our lives... then please give me a chance.

About me: I am in the Central time zone of the USA. For convenience, I'd prefer that you live within an hour of that time zone. I am otherwise an average, middle-aged white guy. I should probably start eating better and exercise more. My most outstanding feature is likely my intelligence (so, please message me if you are attracted to intelligence); I work a job like doctor/lawyer/rocket-scientist that will immediately suggest to you "oh yeah, he's smart." As far as hobbies, I am into music, home improvement, the outdoors (hiking/canoeing/fishing), sports, and television. I am not into drinking alcohol, but I have learned to enjoy the devil's lettuce and one of my new hobbies is growing it at home. I have a great sense of humor, but it's more of a spontaneous sense of humor that doesn't come across well via the Internet.

About you: You need to feel like you could be compatible with the guy that I described above. You also need to be willing to be open about your life. I've tried this before and a lot of the responses were "I am don't want to talk about things like that." Don't be that person.
