Hello ladies of OA,

Yes, you read that post title correctly. I knew exactly 10 of the 23 performers and was even able to sing along with Alanis Morisette. I thought this would boost my street cred with my kids, but I don't think it worked. At all.

I'm a 50-year old married male with too many kids and pets. I'm 5'11 and 200 lbs with short brown hair (and a few greys) and blue eyes. I keep myself in shape, but am not a gym person. I'm intelligent and know how to communicate, but also laid back and like to laugh and have fun with life and guarantee to keep you entertained. I have the time and space in my life for something right now too.

I struggled with trying to figure out what I am looking for as they say opposites attract and I didn't want to prevent someone from replying because they don't meet one certain requirement. That said, I think some basic requirements would be having a sense of humor, knowing how to communicate, and having the ability to chat more than just 9 to 5. It would probably be best if you had kids so we can share our parenting pains and I probably would not have much in common with a 22 year old (despite my previously stated hipness). I would like something that feels like a gf/bf thing, although I'm not looking to change you situation or mine. This would probably include talking daily, sharing pics and videos and phone/video calls, but this can be defined as we go along. I'd also consider meeting in person should the opportunity present itself.

If you are hesitant to reply because you don't think you are hip enough, I am happy to send you the list so we can see if we are aligned in terms of coolness. Otherwise, just say hello and let's see if things work between us.
