I rang the new year in alone last night, on my couch, watching the ball drop. It was a bit of a sad feeling not having anyone to even chat with or be happy about it with. I’d like to change that for 2025. I want someone to share these things with. And the daily life. And everything in between.

About me: I’m 47 (48 in two weeks), married, a father, and a hard working 8-5er. I’m 6’1” with brown hair and eyes and I’d say HWP. I have a bit of a belly but I don’t really carry weight anywhere else. I do have a home gym that I’m using more and more, especially since it’s a new year. I’m funny, sarcastic, intelligent, educated, kind, and understanding. This wouldn’t be my first OA/AP experience but I’d be ok if it was my last.

About you: Age is not that important to me. I’ve clicked with women older than me and women in their early thirties. I think, especially since this is an online connection, it’s more about personality and life experience. As far as looks go, I don’t care about race, height, hair, or eye color. What really gets me, and I know it’s shallow, is a cute/beautiful face. You could be maybe “too skinny” or “too chubby” but if I can’t stop looking at your face and your personality rocks, it doesn’t matter. Ideally you’re married with kids, too. You’d have availability during the weekdays and at least be able to check often over the weekend. I want someone funny and smart who doesn’t take life too seriously. If you can’t laugh at the dumb stuff, then we won’t fit.

I want us to have a connection. There’s no rush on anything so I’m not expecting conversation to be sexy on day one, though the ultimate goal is for us to share all of that eventually. Initially I am open to an early pic swap to make sure we aren’t wasting our time, but that doesn’t have to be the first message either. Eventually I’d be open to moving to Telegram, as I do love trading voice notes and if things really go great, maybe voice/video calls, too!
