I often wonder if this is the right sub for me. I have no long ZZ Top Beard, although I do enjoy being outside, I certainly don’t glorify hiking. Let’s be honest, most people here think hiking means walking from their car to the grocery store. I don’t cling on to some identity of being a “nerd” Although I have an education and enjoy some SciFi stuff I guess, but you most certainly won’t catch me at a Star Wars convention. I do workout but it’s strictly to maintain my mental health.

I am 44 from looking to find a connection that hopefully builds organically. I am in a legit roommate situation and not looking to talk to anyone in great relationships.

I have a sense of humor and experience a lot of funny situations in my day to day life. People who also have a sense of humor and who are also analytical will often get my sense of humor. I often have to play a certain role in my daily life but I would like us to just be us and be who we are without fear of judgement.

I like a chill environment where we just vibe. I like to build a genuine connection that builds organically and go from there. I have a variety of work hours due to the nature of my work.

It is my hope that at the end of all this it will lead to a great connection. Please have a sense of humor and passion about something. We don’t have to have be interested in the same things as I love to learn. I am an advocate and definitely progressive and earn my money by trying to make the world a better place.
