Maybe you're like me and are feeling that crash after Christmas. All the buildup for the big day, the emotions that come with it, parties, music, food, gifts - and then it hits and... blah. And perhaps you're reminded of those things that you're missing and wish you had more of in your life. Sparks. Connection. Chemistry. Cliches, yes, but for a reason. Because they're so universal and they're what most of us have come here seeking.
I’m not here to bash my spouse or for you to bash yours. Rather, this post-holiday season I’m searching for that kindred spirit who is ready for something special after the crash of all the holiday cheer. A woman equal parts smart, capable, funny, ready to be recognized for those things. To be seen as more than just the mom and wife. A woman who's hoping for more joy and laughter, and to share a playlist and meaningful conversation and to feel like someone on the other end of the conversation is just as excited about it as she is.
If any of that resonates, let’s chat. :)
I’m the dad who’s spent all season putting up the Christmas lights, running around for gifts, getting ready for the season. And I know that feeling - feeling un-seen and wanting a partner to connect with, to feel that rush every time he picks up the phone. I'm 44, witty, warm, tall, holding the dad bod at bay. While I’m not that picky with time zones, I’m in Central time, hoping to find someone relatively close to my age who relates to all of this. I couldn’t care if you love to hike or not, if our hobbies necessarily match or if we have overlapping taste in movies and music. I think the sparks are far more organic than that, and I hopefully for us they’re right there, perhaps a post-Christmas gift to ourselves.
