So, I have no kids, so no little league, no PTA. Too old for bars and clubs. Tried chatting in the produce section of the grocery store, but nothing beyond a polite smile.
I think after a certain age, you either have all the friends you'll ever have or you end up alone. What makes it worse is when you are alone in your marriage too! Not to mention introverted. Now, once someone shows interest, I am very friendly, reasonably intelligent, but until the ice has broken, no one ever knows that.
I'd love to meet someone 35 to 60, preferable from the east coast, and more preferable from NY, who knows what salt potatoes are. I'm looking to chat most days, though work and home can get kind of busy, so I might not be able to respond right away.
I have a dry sense of humor, can be really flirty, I am a master of the Double entendre. As stated above, i'm 56 years old, a bit of a dad bod, but not wider than I am tall. Speaking of which, I'm just shy (1/2") shy of 6 foot tall, and when my head isn't shaved my hair is grey, which is why its mostly shaved. I've traveled quite a bit around the US, but not much lately. And I have tried a lot of things that most couldn't imagine doing.
In the past, I've been a biker, an amateur astronomer, a geocacher, among many other hobbies.
I'm pretty much an open book, so ask me anything. If I feel comfortable sharing the information, I will. If not, I'll let you know.
Previous chats have required me to add that I am not interested in your financial strategies, or help you "buy a new phone". If that's your end game, no thank you!
Like everyone one else, I'll end with a question to be answered so I know you read this whole thing... What is something you've done that scared you before you did it? And would you do it again?
