I’m back again. I’m still out here looking go for the right person and the right connection. For those of you that might have seen my posts before, I’m sorry if they’re a bit rambling and nonsensical but in some ways this has become both partly a post looking for companionship and partly therapy where I can talk a bit about my situation and how I feel! 😂
I’m a 42 year old married man from London. I have 2 kids and a fairly busy but fulfilling job. My marriage isn’t terrible or anything but like a lot of people in my situation, you come to realise that you invest so much of your time and yourself into the relationship and the family and what they need and what they want, that one day you realise you’ve lost a lot of yourself in the process, and when you do come to that realisation, you need to find yourself again and who you are. I don’t resent my family or all of the effort I put in but sometimes you just want to be the top of someone’s priority list even if it’s just occasionally and not be an afterthought or an fixture in the background
I’m looking for someone I can be me with, someone that I can help discover themselves again and re-discover myself in the process. Hopefully in that process we can find a spark and some connection and build something great.
About me: I am a standard, by-the-book, middle aged nerd. I love all things sci-fi and fantasy and all types of 80s and 90s nostalgia (probably considered ancient history to most of you). I love art, books, music, politics, fashion and culture and will talk for hours about most of it.
I realise I’ve rambled on for a long time so I’ll leave it there but hopefully if this resonated with you, you’ll shoot me a message and we can chat more and get to know each other
