So how do we not settle in our search for someone? Do we post something vague hoping that THAT someone will reply? Or do we list out exactly what we are looking for thus seeming too picky and overwhelming? I want to be picky though, I want to find what I am looking for, and be able to fill the needs of the person who I am talking to. Here is what I have decided, I am just going to lay it out there and see what happens. Me: -Intelligent with a dry sense of humor -Curious about all things
-Lover of Books
-The outdoors are my jam, kayaking, photography
-HWP but still love beer and pizza
-Trashy reality TV and white claws, judge away
-Free time for this
-Otis Redding to Counting Crows, to Boyz II Men, I listen to anything.
-Dad, also have the cutest dog ever
-Willing to share photo early
Looking for:
-Emotional intelligence
-Humor but with depth
-An actual friendship / relationship
-Willing to share their days, photos
-More than 8-10 scattered messages daily, have time
-Something long term, just one person
-HWP, I think mutual attraction is important
-Willing to share a photo earlyish
-34-48
-Able to converse! Actual conversation
It has to be possible, right? To find someone in this vast universe that is looking for the same thing? I’m in the CST but would be open PST-EST, I’m a night owl and really do not enjoy mornings. I know who I am, I am confident in my ability to hold a conversation, make someone laugh, and still get hit on when I am out. I don’t want to settle here, I want to find someone who feels the same way. Let’s chat, make one another laugh, shed the masks we wear and see what happens. Stop settling and create a place for just us. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
