Like everyone else here, I am looking for something missing in my life. I have kids that I adore and a job I enjoy for the most part. My bedroom isn't quite dead, at least compared to some of yours, but at a couple times a year it definitely isn't vibrant either. I love my wife, but we are very different people and she can't give me what I need as a companion. If either of us could cope with split custody of the kids, we would divorce... but neither of us is willing to be separated from them at all... so here I am, trying to find what I am missing to be able to maintain the status quo.

A few random facts about me: - Physically, I am 5'8" and I have a gut I am trying to get rid of. I've been laid up with a broken toe for the past week, but normally I work out 4-5 days a week to get back into shape. - I shave my head and am cleanshaven - no beard here. - I'm a colossal geek. Big fan of fantasy/Sci-Fi, tabletop RPGs, board games, video games, etc. I am a big reader of all genres and an aspiring novelist. - Less nerdy interests include a recently rediscovered love of hiking, cooking, DIY projects, competition reality shows, and having my own concert along with whatever happens to be playing (no matter how much my kids beg me to stop). What I am looking for: - Someone with a sense of humor. If your sense of humor matches mine, even better - Someone that takes care of themselves. Please note that I did NOT say skinny or anything like that. I am not a fitness model and don't expect you to be either, I actually like women with a little meat on their bones. Just be trying to take care of yourself as much as you can. - Someone with kids. This isn't a strict requirement, but I find people with kids don't tend to understand the demands they place on your life the same way.

Other than that, I'm pretty open! I am looking for a best friend and someone I connect with emotionally. Everything else after that is just icing on top!
