Does it ever feel like youâre living in a reverse romantic comedy. All comedy, no romance? The woman who exists in full view of everyone, yet youâre not fully seen by anyone?
Maybe youâre a busy mother, with a schedule that juggles the pickup line, PTA meetings or soccer practice, handling everything that comes with your role as a parent, loving your kids but wishing you were seen as more than just âmom.â Or at work, where youâre smart and accomplished, but feel like itâs such a one-dimensional aspect of who you fully are as a woman? Or even at home in your relationship, missing that connection, the thrill that comes from being appreciated and desired, being seen as this layered, dimensional partner?Â
If this is you, letâs chat.
I know that feeling - of hiding in plain sight - where youâve got all the trappings of life, but know that thereâs more there. More joy and laughter, more conversation and connection, more friendship and flirtation. Longing for the rush of exploring all the layers. Sharing with someone who wants you for you. Breaking out of the rut. Sharing songs that inspired you, something that made you laugh that day, the thought you had in the morning that you just have to share with SOMEONE who wants to hear it in return? Being all those parts of you that are hiding in plain sight.
Iâm looking for a woman who gets that feeling. Who knows what itâs like and how powerful it is to feel that spark of connection and is ready to find it again. Iâm 44, that dad you saw at the PTA meeting or soccer game or work. The neighbor with the cool Christmas lights that you always get excited to run into out and about. A witty conversationalist, tall, warm smile, holding the dad bod at bay. While Iâm not that picky with time zones, Iâm in Central time, hoping to find someone relatively close to my age who relates to all of this. I couldnât care if you love to hike or not, if our hobbies match or if we have overlapping taste in movies and music. I think the sparks are far more organic than that, and I hopefully for us theyâre right there, hiding in plain sight. :)
