Post Body

I find it strange the amount of posts people put up complaining about ghosting, or how hard it is to find a connection. Or just generally complaining about this.

Specifically with ghosting, people lament not knowing why. Why did they just stop talking to me? The answer is obvious, isn’t it? They aren’t interested any more. It wasn’t worth the risk.

Consider how much is on the line with something like this. If you have a half decent home life (and apparently a lot of this Reddit really don’t) you have a lot to lose. You are already taking a huge risk. If there is no epic reward, why bother? Why settle for a mediocre conversation or even just a mild attraction?

Why do people feel like they are owed something after talking to a stranger they don’t know for a day or two? There are no rules here. Move on, don’t complain about it, and get back in the game. It will work by itself when you finally click with that certain someone.
