I’m back again. It’s been a really long break. I thought my relationship would get better. Unfortunately, I’m always wrong lol. I tried my hand at separation. I even own my own home. But losing my kiddo for a few days a week… it ripped my guts out. I can’t do it. Im addicted to her, she’s my life. So. Quite a predicament here. I think I just have to bite the bullet and stay until my kiddo goes to college and moves out. I’m not willing to lose her for any amount of time. But I also wanna be happy. However I can, in any way I can. Now here I am, bowing once again before my dark lord: Reddit OA. Things have probably changed since I’ve been in the game. Consider me a bit of a newbie. Here’s some hard, unchangeable facts: I’m 39/F/East Coast USA. Brown hair, brown eyes, cute face, nice smile. White girl. Not big but not small. I’m a tall one, at 5’8. I’m more of the mom next door kinda gal; hair always up in a messy bun, glasses crooked, shoes never appropriate for the weather. I’m funny and I’m kind. I think a lot about others and put a lot of energy into relationships. I like football, action movies, dogs, camp fires, and other awesome things. My favorite planet is Neptune. My favorite color is green. My favorite dinosaur is the T. rex. My favorite holiday is Christmas and yes, die hard is absolutely a Christmas flick. Yippie ki ay mother fucker. My toe nails are always painted, I wear a Steelers jersey every game day, and I have a fascination with birds and hippos. I have one kiddo who is 9 going on 16. She rocks. I also have a crap ton of animals, almost an embarrassing amount. And all I can say for myself is that it just happened. Some girls like clothes and purses and shoes; I just love dogs. So I run a small zoo. I am looking for someone around my age. I tend to gravitate towards bigger guys, bearded, tattoos, backward turned hat is a plus, drives a truck would be the trifecta. I like dudes who can also rock my socks off with their humor and intellect. I have a graduate degree and I like to discuss current events. I don’t shy away from difficult discussions. I’m curious and I like to get to know someone; I enjoy it when they want to get to know me with the same gusto. I love to laugh and have a great sense of humor. I like comedies that can be raunchier, like the chappelles show and family guy. Also a Seinfeld and Simpsons girl with a dash of the office to round it out. Oh, and me and my daughter nerd out over WWE. Pro wrestling is forever my weakness. So … as for what I’m looking for. I know I am Not going to leave my husband until my kiddo is a lot older. That’s a given. But I’d like to have …. Like… a boyfriend? That’s the best term I can think of to describe it. Of course there’s the sexual element that we’re all here for but I want more than that. I want a deep connection. I want the support, the appreciation, the value and respect that I’m missing at home. It’s like we’re on two different wavelengths me and him and I need someone who’s sturdy, steady, and reassuring. Someone who can call me back to him when I’m trippin out and spiraling in a bad day. I reciprocate effort that’s shown to me. I don’t want to feel used. Please only respond if you really resonate with my description of myself and what I want.
