I post on here a lot. Some have told me I’m using this as a personal diary, and I think that’s fair. In that vein, dear diary - I’m not doing so hot. I’m still struggling and going through periods of manic energy and withdrawal. Some people haven’t heard from me in a while. If that’s you, I’m sorry. It’s been a tough weekend.

But that’s not why I’m here. The other thing I’ve been doing is election support. Not telling someone who to vote for, but rather helping people figure out how to vote. And I’ve learned this year is a shit show. People are confused, unsure what the rules are, and BOEs are less than helpful. That also depresses me.

But I firmly believe voting is critical and it’s worth fighting for your ballot. I do have a preferred candidate, but I’m an institutional it’s to a fault (much to my wife’s chagrin). In simple terms, I think voting itself is a societal good, even though I believe one candidate is a net negative (very net negative). And I want to defend the voting instruction any way I can.

I know this is a cheating subreddit, but we all have lives outside of here. And the best way to ensure people vote is to talk to them where they are. So I’m talking to you all here - please vote. And if you need help, I’m here (though there are lots of great resources too).

In keeping with the spirit of the subreddit, I’ll reiterate I’m married and seeking affairs. If you vote, maybe we can have an affair? Though that seems like election interference? Not sure. But I’m a hot guy who cares about civic duty. I just have a fucked up head that I’m working on fixing in therapy. Quite a catch, I know.

Anyway, you can cheat and vote, but don’t cheat yourself out of voting. One more day!
